Have you performed the ‘Recovery of the Year’?

Paul Gregory

Professional Recovery magazine is proud to once again launch the Recovery of the Year competition. The recovery operator judged to have performed the best recovery of the year will be invited to the Gala Charity Dinner at the Tow Show as our guests and will receive the prestigious Recovery of the Year trophy.

This is the third year we have hosted the competition which rewards excellence and the skills operators use every day in their job. But to win the award we are looking for that recovery which took a little more than the day-to-day skills of a recovery operator.
Your know, the job that needed you to go that little bit further to execute. It might have been off-road or it may have been a particularly difficult motorway recovery. It might have been a spectacular recovery needing multi-skills or it might have been a job in the middle of a farmer’s field with electricity cables hindering the operation.
What we need you to do is send us your entry or entries. Please give us as much technical information as you can and we must have photographic evidence. You can send your entry in a nicely produced folder or you can send it by email. Our panel will judge it on the difficulty of the operation and the way you approached it.
Our editor, Dave Gregory will head up the judging panel and believe me we take the judging process very seriously.
The competition is not restricted to operators, we would love to hear from work providers as well. Has one of your contractors excelled on a particular job. Let us know about it.

Please let us have your entries before August 14.
Send them to: Recovery of the Year, Partnership Publishing, Bridge Road, Wellington, Telford TF1 1RY or alternatively email them direct to our editor:
